The news keeps coming.

After a notice from my manager regarding a specific vendors pricing I decided to contact the salesman who I know quite well. Please note that our communication was quick and done on a cell phone so please disregard the lack of spelling, grammar and punctuation but I felt the gist was worthy of passing along.

Yes he has been calling me the market has been crazy. For instance 3/4 plywood right now we are selling for $22.00 a piece. Sheet rock has gone up .64 cents a piece across the board. Joint compound is up .30cents a bucket. Structolite .60 cents a bag. All lumber is up. Since the beginning of January the lumber market is up 50pct. They expect sheet rock to go up again in another month about 20pct. So the market on building materials is up. I don't know if you buy moulding but they are up about 40pct. In short they expect this trend to continue at least in the foreseeable future. I have looked to take care of you guys and will continue to do so , but when the material cost me more I have to of course follow suit,just like if it went down you would expect me to give you a better price.
