Why US Investors Don't Need To Fear Higher Interest Rates



This is headline bologna. Nice package, catchy song, tastes pretty good - even in Kool-Aid. It works as long as you don't tell me what's in it.

Falling rates are positive, now rising rates are positive. It all looks good, as long as nobody scrutinizes the explanation.

Most analysts, though, think the move will largely be taken in stride by the markets. There's even sentiment that investors will greet rate hikes as a sign that the economy is safely on a stronger path.
