Silver and gold - not many of us have much of it lying around, but imagine exchanging a gold piece for a bag of groceries. It's not as ridiculous as it sounds. There is a new bill being discussed in the State House of Representatives that would legitimize trading gold for merchandise.
Idaho has a long history of mining, so they like other resource rich nations may come to protect their interests. The embedded video reminds us how easy the historical lessons of money are lost over as little as one or two generations and why devaluation is still politically easy.
