It's Time for the Gold Shares To Play Catch Up

Gold clearly leads the gold shares. The discrepancy or time delay between new highs in gold (bullion) and gold shares is illustrated below by the yellow boxes. All charts have been updated through September.

While gold may lead the gold stocks, it does not outperform the gold shares during the duration of the secular bull. The gold shares, like a spaceship using the gravitation pull of a planet or celestial mass to increase speed, will “slingshot” toward and pass now that the breakout has been achieved.

The catch up has begun.
